Lovely and Sweet Handmade Card

Share this:

This simple Lovely and Sweet Handmade Card features the beautiful Softly Stippled Sale-A-Bration paper, which is available thru February 29, 2024. The grainy earth tones and textured pastels in this Paper make it the perfect background for this simple card.

Lovely and Sweet Handmade Card with a floral design and some pretty paper in blues and mustards. Sentiment is sending love and best wishes.

To keep this card simple, I highlighted the flowers on the focal image so that it didn’t over power that gorgeous paper. This created a card with some depth but that was very easy to make!

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Basic White cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  2. Using Wild Wheat ink, stamp the cross-hatch background onto the Very Vanilla Cardstock. Using the same ink, stamp the sentiment of choice onto the 1-3/4″ x 2″ piece of Softly Stippled paper (linen pattern.)
  3. Adhere the 3 pieces of Softly Stippled Paper and the Very Vanilla paper onto the 3-3/4″ x 5-1/8″ Wild Wheat Cardstock as shown in the sample. Adhere to the front of the card.
  4. Stamp the large flower using Black Memento ink onto the 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut out using your Paper Snips Scissors. (Note: if you have the Lovely & Sweet Bundle, you can cut this out with the floral die from the Bundle.)
  5. Color in the 2 flowers lightly using the Light Pool Party Blend.
  6. Cut about 8″ of the Balmy Blue Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine 3-Color Pack and tie into a bow onto the stem of the flower. Adhere to the card as shown in the sample using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
