Meet Barb

Barb Brimhall, The BZBStamperMy name is Barb Brimhall and I have been a  Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since 1996.  I live in Vancouver, Washington (affectionately known as “the other Vancouver”) which is right across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon.

Primarily, I teach cardmaking & memory keeping using Stampin’ Up! products. But ultimately? I help busy women get in touch with their creative self so that they can relax and make something that means something.

I’m just like you.  I love chocolate.  I love to hang out with my two daughters.  I love to spend time with creative and inspiring women.  And I absolutely love to stamp!

Did you know that stamping can make you feel good about yourself?  It’s true!  When I first started stamping in 1995, I had never had a hobby (didn’t have time) and certainly didn’t feel like I had an artistic bone in my body.   Still don’t.   In fact, my family won’t play Pictionary with me unless I have a stamp in my hand!

But the first time I picked up a rubber stamp, inked it up, and slammed it onto the paper (I’ve since learned to be gentle) something magical happened.  I could create a piece of “art” that didn’t look like a 3 year old had made it.

I could create something with my own two hands that I could then turn around and give to someone else.   And it would make them smile and let them know that I thought they were special.  That I was thinking about them.  I took the time to give them something from my heART.   And it made me feel great!  Move over store-bought cards – MY cards are handmade with love!

And I can help you do that too! Check out my blog, look over my tutorials, book a class or a private stamping session with me. Together we’ll create some art from the heart!

I am a passionate advocate of the Direct Sales industry.  Direct Sales has allowed me to create a beautiful life, one in which I wake up every morning loving what I do and allows me to be the kind of mom I always wanted to be.  You can read more about my own personal journey here.

In my 20 years with Stampin’ Up!, I’ve learned how to sell, I’ve learned how to mentor other women, and I’ve learned a lot about myself.  It’s been a fabulous journey.  And now I’d love to give back, to help other women who may dream of their own journey but aren’t sure how to get there.

I’ve created a “Direct Sales Journal” here on my website, where I will be sharing all of the tips & tricks I’ve learned in my 20+ years.  And there will always be something new because I’m always learning!

Not sure why you should listen to what I have to say?

  • I’ve earned 18 of the past 20 Stampin’ Up! incentive trips
  • I served on the prestigious Stampin’ Up! Advisory Board for 2006-2007 and 2007-2008
  • Since 2016, I’ve been honored to be in the Top 100 Global Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.

But most importantly, I care.  I passionately believe that the Direct Sales industry can open doors for women that wouldn’t be there otherwise.   Whether you just want to grow a “little biz” where you can pay for your hobby or create a life you’ve always dreamed of, I’m here to help.  Please contact me at any time if you have questions about Stampin’ Up! or the Direct Sales industry in general and I’ll help as best I can.

I created a life I love.  You can too.

  1. What a beautiful story Barb. I feel the same way and absolutely love what I do as well as direct sales. Like they say, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work another day”! I really appreciate all the time you’ve given me in the past and not even being a part of your team. That’s what we call, A Go Give Spirit! Thanks much.
