How to Make a Cute Handmade Greeting Card Quickly featuring 2 birds in blue and purple sitting on a pile of green books. No sentiment but pretty papers and embossed background.

And the fun doesn’t stop there! Add a dash of personality to each bird with whimsical accessories like monocles and eyeglasses. Whether they’re perched atop a stack of books or nestled on a branch, these birds are ready to bring a smile to anyone’s face.

I made this card specifically for a good friend who loves to read, and since her favorite colors are soft purples and blues, I went with the color combination of Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, and then I threw in Mossy Meadow for the books to give them an “aged” look. If you’d prefer something brighter, make sure you check out my Color Combination Library, which is sure to give you some different ideas for your color palette.
