How To Make This Card

Project Skill Level: Worker Bee

Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.

Cardstock Measurements:

  • Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
  • Petal Pink Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-3/4″ x 5″
  • Petal Pink Cardstock: 7/8″ x 2-1/8″
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3/4″ x 2″
  • Petal Pink Cardstock: 1″ x 3″ (for die-cutting)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3″ x 3″ (for die-cutting)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Basic White cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  2. Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock to the front of the card.
  3. Using the 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the floral images at varying heights across the bottom of the cardstock using the Smoky Slate ink pad.
  4. Adhere the White cardstock to the Petal Pink cardstock on the front of the card.
  5. Using the 3″ pieces of Basic White and Petal Pink cardstocks, run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Dainty Delight Dies and cut out the floral dies as shown in the sample.
  6. Using a sponge dauber and the Calypso Coral ink pad, lightly sponge the bottom of the 2 Petal Pink flowers. Adhere these flowers to the card as shown in the sample. Adhere the 2 White “stems” as shown in the sample.
  7. Stamp the sentiment onto the 3/4″ strip of Basic White cardstock using the Smoky Slate ink pad. Adhere to the 7/8″ strip of Petal Pink cardstock.
  8. Cut 3″ of the Petal Pink ribbon, angling both ends using your scissors. Adhere to the back of the sentiment strip from the previous step. Adhere the sentiment strip to the card as shown in the sample.
  9. To finish, add 3 of the Iridescent Rhinestones as desired.
