This is a more stepped-up version of an easier card I posted on August 3rd, which you can see here. For this card, I added die-cut images from the Dainty Delights Dies, as well as some other touches. These Dies are so easy to use with our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. You can find all the details below.

How To Make This Card

Cardstock Measurements:

  • Very Vanilla Cardstock:  5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock:  4” x 5-1/4” (2 pieces)
  • Early Espresso Cardstock:  3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
  • Crushed Curry Cardstock:  3” x 5-1/2”
  • Coastal Cabana Cardstock:  2” x 3”
  • Copper Clay Cardstock:  2” x 4”

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Very Vanilla cardstock in half at the score line and burnish well with the Bone Folder.
  2. Run one of the 4” x 5-1/4” pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and emboss using the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder.  Set aside.
  3. Using the other piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp the flower image at the end of the cardstock using Black Memento ink.  Color in using the Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, and Light Shaded Spruce Blends. Cut out using the die from the Dainty Dies; set aside.
  4. Run the Vanilla cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the 2-1/2”  circle and sentiment tag using the Stylish Shapes dies.  Run the Early Espresso cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the 3” circle.
  5. Run the Very Vanilla circle through the Cut & Emboss Machine again and emboss using the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder; adhere to the Early Espresso circle; apply to the Very Vanilla mat from Step #2.
  6. Wrap 6” of the ribbon around the Very Vanilla mat, just under the Early Espresso circle and tape the ends on the back of the cardstock.  Adhere to the card front.
  7. Using the Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana, and Copper Clay cardstocks, run through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the various pieces from the Dainty Delight Dies as shown in the sample.  Glue the pieces onto the card, including the piece from Step #3, as shown in the sample.
  8. Using the sentiment tag, stamp sentiment using Copper Clay ink.  Adhere to the right side of the card, over the ribbon, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Using the Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine from the Essentials Pack, tie a bow onto the  ribbon to the left of the sentiment strip.
  10. To finish, add 3-5 of the Glossy Dots as  desired onto the card.

This card looks difficult to make but actually comes together quickly thanks to the Cut & Emboss Machine and dies, as well as the Stampin’ Blends. Who do you know who would appreciate this card?
