How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Worker Bee
Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Coastal Cabana Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
- Basic White Cardstock: 1/2″ x 3-1/4″

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Basic White Cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
- Run the Coastal Cabana cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to the front of the card at an angle.
- Using the 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the large detailed starfish from the Sea Turtle stamp set in the upper left corner. Clean the stamp and stamp the starfish again in the lower right corner using Daffodil Delight ink. Clean the stamp and stamp the starfish again in the center between the other 2 images using Flirty Flamingo ink.
- Using the “bold” starfish stamp (this is a Reversible stamp set so it’s the “back side” of the detailed stamp) ink up in Coastal Cabana ink, stamp off once on your scratch sheet and then stamp 3 times over the starfish image without reinking. Clean your stamp and repeat with the other 2 colors.
- Using the speckle stamp from the Quiet Meadow stamp set, ink up with the appropriate color of ink for each of the 3 images, and stamp over the image.
- Wrap White Baker’s Twine around the bottom of the White cardstock and tie into a knot or bow on the right side. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Using the 1/2″ strip of Basic White cardstock, stamp the sentiment of your choice using Coastal Cabana ink and adhere to the left side of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals, centering over the Baker’s White to finish.
