Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder

The star of this card is the beautiful Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder by Stampin’ Up! The beautiful flowers created with this Embossing Folder will add depth and movement to any card, scrapbook page, gift tag, or other paper craft. 

This simplicity of this card makes it perfect for any occasion. The sentiment I used on this card actually retired prior to my posting this card, so I recommend the Sweetly Scripted Sentiment Stamp Set, which is part of our Online Excl.usive products.  The decorative script is a cute focal point for any project and works for vertical and horizontal cards! Use the full length of the sentiment or crop as needed for more versatility. With this set, you can celebrate an anniversary or birthday, save the date for a special occasion, or wish someone a swift recovery with greetings that are perfect all year long.

1. Fold the Very Vanilla Cardstock in half at the score line to create the card base.
2. Run the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder.
3. Using one of the Blending Brushes, ink up using the Daffodil Delight ink pad and lightly swirl on color on the upper 1/3 of cardstock. Tip, start off the cardstock on your scratch paper and slowly move onto cardstock using a swirly, circular motion.
4. Using the clean Blending Brush, ink up using the Granny Apple Green ink pad and lightly swirl on color on the lower 1/3 of cardstock.
5. Ink up the last Blending Brush using Flirty Flamingo ink and color in the blank area between the yellow and green areas. Tip: you can clean your brush with just water (or add a small drop of Dawn Detergent if heavily inked) and then let dry for at least 48 hours. The brushes are dense and will require time to dry, depending on your climate.
6. Adhere the embossed cardstock to the front of the card.
7. Stamp the sentiment of choice onto the 1/2″ of Very Vanilla cardstock using Flirty Flamingo ink, trimming the ends if necessary.
8. Cut 6″ of the Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine and tie them into a bow, timing ends as necessary. Adhere to the back of the sentiment strip using a Stampin’ Dimensional; adding more Stampin’ Dimensionals as necessary to adhere the sentiment strip to the front of the card to finish.
