The Plentiful Plants Stamp Set is my go-to set for creating a serene potted plant oasis right on my handcrafted projects. Imagine stamping a row of vases or transforming them into charming hanging baskets with lush leaves draping over— the possibilities are endless, and so is the fun!

Because this set doesn’t have any sentiments included in the stamp set, I pulled one from the Go To Greetings Stamp Set, which is perfect when you need an all-occasion sentiment! I used the Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper to make quick work of my background, and also pulled my Heather Highland and Olive Olive Color Palette from the paper.

Because this is a Reversibles Stamp Set, I had lots of versatility and played with both sides of the stamp stamp set for even more leafy looks. It’s time to let your love for plants bloom in your crafts like never before!

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Basic White Cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  2. Adhere the 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Poetic Expressions paper to the 3-3/4″x 5″ piece of Poetic Expressions Paper and adhere to the Highland Heather cardstock. Adhere to the front of the card.
  3. Stamp the sentiment onto the 1/2″ strip of Basic White cardstock using Highland Heather ink. Adhere to upper left of card front as shown in the sample.
  4. Using the 2-1/2″ x 4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock, run through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out using the 2-1/8″ x 3-1/2″ Deckled Rectangle Die. Set aside.
  5. Using the 2″ scrap of Highland Heather Cardstock, stamp the pot using Highland Heather ink. Fussy cut out using scissors. Set aside.
  6. Using the Basic White rectangle die-cut, stamp the curved leaves once using Old Olive Ink, then stamp again without reinking on the bottom left of cardstock. Repeat this with all 4 curved leaves (see sample for placement.)
  7. Ink up the butterfly with Highland Heather ink, stamp off 1-2 times on your scratch paper and then stamp in the upper left corner.
  8. Using the cut-out pot from Step #6, flip over and use as a guide to stamp the trio of leaves using Old Olive ink.
  9. Wrap Linen Thread around the pot as shown in the sample and tie into a bow. Adhere to the White cardstock so that the pot is beneath the trio of leaves, slightly overlapping.
  10. Adhere the White cardstock to the card front to finish.

A Tip from Barb

If you don’t have the Deckled Dies or a Cut & Emboss Machine, you can easily turn this card into a Busy Bee card by using a 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock instead. Easy Peasy!
