How To Make This Card

Project Skill Level: Busy Bee

Busy Bee projects are designed for the beginner or busy papercrafter. This is a basic cardmaking project that can be achieved by someone who has never made a handmade card before. You can view more Busy Bee cards here.

Cardstock Measurements:

  • Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-3/4″ x 5″ (2 pieces)
  • Masterfully Made Paper #1: 1-3/4″ x 4-3/4″
  • Masterfully Made Paper #2: 1-3/4″ x 4=3/4″
  • Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock: 2″ x 2-1/2″
  • Basic White Cardstock: 1-3/4″ x 2-1/4″

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Lemon LIme Twist cardstock in half at the scoreline and burnish well with the Bone Folder.
  2. Adhere one of the 3-3/4″ x 5″ pieces of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
  3. Using the other piece of 3-3/4″ x 5″ Basic White Cardstock, adhere both panels of the Masterfully Made paper so that it leaves you a border on all sides and in the middle.
  4. Adhere the White cardstock to the card front.
  5. Stamp the sentiment onto the 1-3/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock using Lemon Lime Twist ink. Adhere to the Lemon Lime Twist 2″ mat.
  6. Adhere the sentiment mat to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
