Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Peach Pie cardstock in half at the scoreline to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.
- Using the 4″ square of Basic White cardstock, run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ and smallest 1″ tall rectangle dies from the Deckled Rectangle Dies.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the 1″ tall rectangle die using Black Memento ink. Adhere to the right side of the card, approximately 1/2″ from the right side of the card.
- Adhere the Thoughtful Journey Paper, Pattern 1 to the front of the card, about 1/4″ to the right of the left fold line. Adhere the Thoughtful Journey Paper, Pattern 2 onto the first paper, leaving approximately 1/2″ of the Pattern 1 paper showing and overlapping the sentiment strip.
- Using the remaining Rectangle Die, stamp the father fishing image using Black Memento ink. Color in the father’s shirt, the little boy’s shirt and the girls pants using the Light Night of Navy Blend. Color in the father’s pants using the Dark Night of Navy Blend.
- Color in the girls shirt using the Light Peach Pie Blend; color in the boy’s pants using the Dark Peach Pie Blend.
- Color in the deck and hair using the Bronze Blend. Color in their skin using the Ivory Blend.
- Adhere to the bottom of the card, about 1/2″ up from the bottom, using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
A Tip from Barb
This is actually a fairly simple card to put together. It was classified as a Worker Bee card due to the use of the Deckled Rectangled dies, but if you don’t have a Cut & Emboss Machine or these dies, you can simple cut your Basic White cardstock to 1″ x 2″ for the sentiment and 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ for the focal image.
