Feathered Flight Thinking of You Card
Create this beautiful Feathered Flight Thinking of You Card using the Feathered Flight Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! Whether you’re conveying sympathy, congratulations, or just saying hello, these stamps will help you create cards that touch hearts and bring smiles.
This card looks difficult to make but it’s fairly simple thanks to the beautiful color combination and the use of the sponging technique.
I wanted to go with a color palette that would evoke nature and a wildlife scene, so I chose Old Olive, Pecan Pie, and Pretty Peacock. If you’d prefer a different palette, make sure you check out my Color Combination Library for a variety of different color combinations.
I then went with a simple background, using Blending Brushes and ink to create a soft dreamy look – I love how it turned out! Added to that soft look is the fact that this is a Distinktive Stamp Set, which provides a unique texture, elevating your cardmaking to new heights, allowing you to create detailed, photo-realistic images with ease. Let’s dig in and create a handmade card that showcases the serene beauty of nature!

A Tip from Barb
This is the perfect Busy Bee card as it features nothing other than stamps, ink, and paper. Using the Sponging Technique adds a lot of color quickly and easily. The beauty of this technique is that all you have to do is gently dab or swipe a sponge dabber or Blender Brush dipped in ink onto your cardstock, creating a soft, textured effect that adds depth and interest to your card design. It’s an easy and effective way to bring a touch of artistic flair and dimension to your papercrafting projects!
