Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Basic White cardstock in half at the score line and burnish well with your Bone Folder.
  2. Adhere the Flight & Airy Sale-A-Bration paper to the front of the card.
  3. Using the 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the “floral branch” in the upper right corner using Black Memento Ink.
  4. Stamp the hedgehog below the branch using Black Memento ink. Stamp the “grass” around the bottom of the hedgehog as shown in the sample using the same ink.
  5. Stamp the butterfly to the left of the Hedgehog as shown in the sample using Black Memento ink.
  6. Color in the Branches using the Light Granny Apple Green Blend. Color in the flowers using the Calypso Coral Blends.
  7. Color in the Grass using the Dark Granny Apple Green Blend.
  8. Color in the butterfly using the Balmy Blue Blends.
  9. Color in the Hedgehog using the Bronze Blend for his “bristles” and the Ivory Blend for his inside body. Tip: add a light layer of the Ivory Blend below his body – this will “anchor” him to the card so that he’s not “floating” around the grass.
  10. Stamp the sentiment onto the 1″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock using Black Memento ink. Adhere to the Garden Green cardstock and glue onto the front of the card as shown in the sample to finish.

A Tip from Barb

This is the perfect card sketch for whenever you have some pretty paper you’d like to use! Just grab 2-3 colors from the paper you want to use and pull your coordinating cardstock, inks and any embellishments you’d like! I used the Stampin’ Blends on this card for quick coloring, but any medium will work! An easy peasy card without any stress – I love when my pretty paper can do the heavy lifting on my cards!😊
