How To Make This Card

Cardstock Measurements:

  • Lemon Lolly Cardstock:  5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Basic White Cardstock:  4” x -1/4”
  • Pool Party Cardstock:  1-3/4” x 5”
  • Basic White Cardstock:  2” x 5-1/4”
  • Basic White Cardstock:  2” x 2” (for die-cutting)
  • Crushed Curry Cardstock:  2” x 2” (for die-cutting)
  • Old Olive Cardstock:  2” x 2” (for die-cutting)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of Lemon Lolly Cardstock in half at the score line; adhere the 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
  2. Cut a 1-3/4” x 5” piece of Pool Party cardstock and a 2” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock.  Adhere the Pool Party cardstock onto the Basic White cardstock and adhere to the card base about 3/4” down from the top fold.
  3. Stamp the sentiment under the Basic White cardstock on the right side using Old Olive ink.
  4. Using the Cut & Emboss Machine and a scrap of Basic White cardstock, die-cut 3 of the full Daisy and 2 of the half Daisy flowers.  Using a scrap of Crushed Curry cardstock, die-cut 5 of the daisy centers.  Using a scrap of Old Olive cardstock,  cut out 6 of the small leaves.
  5. Using Glue Dots, adhere the die-cuts onto the Pool Party cardstock as shown in the sample to finish.

Although this card looks difficult to make, it actually comes together fairly quickly thanks to the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and Dies. Set up an assembly line and you could make a bunch of these cards for your friends in no time!

  1. Hi Barb,
I’m enjoying your site. My question is, are the prices of the products in American price or Canadian? What is the shipping cost?
