Discover the joy of Step It Up Stamping! Today we’ll be making 3 Cards using the Butterfly Flight Bundle by Stampin’ Up!® These 3 cards show how one basic card idea can grow from simple stamping to a card with a little more detail and finally to a full Queen Bee version.

Sometimes we get so caught up in making the “perfect” card that we forget why we started making cards in the first place. We make them to send them. To let someone know we’re thinking about them. To say thank you, I appreciate you, or I’m glad you’re in my life.
That’s what today’s Step It Up Stamping is all about.

All three cards feature the Butterfly Flight Bundle and the same pretty color combination of Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, and Azure Afternoon.
The first two cards use the Butterfly Flight Decorative Masks to build the butterflies one layer of color at a time. It’s a simple way to create beautiful butterflies without needing lots of extra detail. You can learn more about how to use these masks here.
Then we step things up for the Queen Bee card. This version brings in the Stampin’ Hot Foil System with Silver Foil for that beautiful metallic shine. The Butterfly Flight Dies cut out the individual butterflies, while the Paradise Garden Embossing Folder adds texture to the background.
The sentiment and coordinating labels were created with the Sweet Words & Labels products, giving the finished card one more layer of detail.
