Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of  Basic White Cardstock in half at 4-1/4” score line.
  2. Run a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic White Cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder.  Set aside.
  3. Carefully ink the top half of the sentiment stamp using Granny Apple Green ink and ink the bottom half of the sentiment using Melon Mambo ink.  Tip:  if you use the top/side of your ink pad, it’ll be easier to control where the ink goes.  Huff on your stamp to re-moisten the ink and stamp onto a 2-3/4” x 3-1/2” piece of Basic White Cardstock,   Run through the Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut using the 2-3/4” x 3” die from the Nested Essentials Dies.
  4. Adhere the sentiment to the front of the embossed Basic White mat from Step #2.
  5. Run the 1-1/4” x 3-1/4” pieces of Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo Foil through the Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut 3 stars from each, saving all of the pieces.  Using small dots of glue, adhere to the Basic White mat from the previous step as shown in the sample or as desired.
  6. To finish, adhere the Basic White mat to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A Tip from Barb

This looks like a difficult card but it’s actually quite easy thanks to the Cut & Emboss Machine. You could make a lot of these cards by doing all of the die-cutting and embossing “assembly style”. So cut the cardstock, die-cut and emboss the cardstock, and assemble. Why not make this your next Christmas card?😊
