Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Crumb Cake Cardstock in half to create your base card.
  2. Adhere the 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock inside your card.
  3. Run the Berry Burst Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder that is part of the Bundle.  Set aside.
  4. Run the Soft Sea Foam cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the second largest die from the Thoughtful Expressions dies.  Run the remaining cardstock through again using the 5=leaf die from the same dies, cutting out 3 of this die.
  5. Run the Basic White cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the 3rd largest die from the Thoughtful Expressions dies.  Run the remaining cardstock through again using the smallest label die from the same set of dies.
  6. Run the Garden Green cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out three of the 5-leaf die from the Thoughtful Expressions dies.
  7. Using the White die-cut, stamp the stem two times using Garden Green ink.  Stamp the floral image two times using Berry Burst ink.  Layer onto the Soft Sea Foam die-cut cardstock and then adhere to the Berry Burst Soft Shimmer paper as shown in the sample.  Layer 2 Soft Sea Foam and 2 Garden Green die-cut leaves at the bottom of the dies.
  8. Wrap the Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine 2 times around the Berry Burst Shimmer paper and tie it into a knot on the left side.  Adhere to the card front.
  9. Using the sentiment label from Step #5, stamp the sentiment using Crumb Cake ink.  Adhere the remaining to die-cut leaves on the back of the sentiment label, at the bottom.  Adhere the sentiment label onto the front of the card, overlapping the Baker’s Twine, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. To finish, add the Iridescent Foil Gems as desired.

A Tip from Barb

This card has quite a few steps but isn’t that difficult to put together thanks to the Stampin’ Up! Dies and Cut & Emboss Machine. If you don’t have any of these dies, or something similar, make sure you check out this post which features a simplified version of this card.
