Make a Happy Mail Greeting Card
Sending someone a Happy Mail greeting card is easy to do if you use the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper – the paper does all the hard work for you!
This quick and easy handmade card uses the Snail Mail Designer Paper and the adorable Kangaroo & Company set by Stampin’ Up! to create a very quick and easy card! Here’s how I made this simple card:
Supplies Used On This Project
Cardstock Measurements
- Bermuda Bay Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″ and 2″ x 5-1/2″ and 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ and 1/2″ x 1″
- Snail Mail Designer Paper: 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
Project Instructions
- Cut a piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock to 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, score at 4-1/4” and fold at score line to
create your base card. - Cut a piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Basic White Cardstock and adhere to inside of card.
- Cut a 3-1/2” x 5-1/2” piece of the striped Snail Mail Designer Paper and adhere to base card.
- Cut a 2” x 5-1/2” piece of Basic White cardstock. Using Real Red ink, stamp the envelop
randomly down the cardstock as shown in the sample. Adhere to base card so that it’s positioned
in-between the stripes. - Cut a 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” square of Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Cut a 2-1/4” x 2-1/4” square of Basic
White Cardstock. Stamp the Kangaroo in the lower left corner using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Color in the Kangaroo using the Light Soft Suede Blend; color in his ear using the Light Flirty
Flamingo Blend. Adhere to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. - On a scrap of Basic White cardstock, stamp the envelope using Real Red ink and cut out using
scissors. Adhere to the Kangaroo so it looks like he’s holding it. - Cut a ½” x 1” piece of Basic White cardstock and stamp the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink. “Flag
Notch” the bottom using scissors and adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
