How To Make This Card
Cardstock Measurements:
- Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock: 2-1/4” x 4”
- Berry Burst Cardstock: 2-1/2” x 4-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock: 1/2” x 2”
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of Basic White Cardstock in half at the 4-1/4” score line.
- Using the Tahitian Tide ink pad, ink up the bubbles image, tap off on your scratch paper, and stamp as shown on the sample. Tip: to stamp on the 2-1/4” piece of White cardstock, line up on the front of the card and stamp again without reinking the stamp.
- Stamp the fish image 2 times on the 2-1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock using Tahitian Tide ink. Stamp the large & small starfish using Berry Burst ink. Adhere the White cardstock to the Berry Burst cardstock and adhere to the card front so the bubbles line up.
- Cut a 1/2” x 2” piece of Basic White cardstock; stamp the sentiment using Black ink.
- Tie the Linen Thread into a bow and adhere to the card.
- Adhere the sentiment over the bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Easy Peasy! This card comes together quickly thanks to the two-step stamping feature of the Sea Turtle Stamp Set. Two-step stamp sets are my favorite type of Stampin’ Up! Sets . The two-step stamping process lets you layer images using different stamps from the set. It’s like building an image piece by piece. You might use one stamp to make the outline of a flower, and another stamp to color in the petals. When you put it all together, you get one detailed picture that looks like it pops off the page! You can also easily use different ink colors for each stamp. This gives your picture more color and detail than you’d get using just one stamp. Try two-step stamping to add more life and color to your papercrafting projects!
