April ordering Bonus
A Bonus for You!
Any order you place in April includes a free 10-project tutorial featuring the Delicate Dreams Suite that you can use with any Bundle in your stamp stash.
It’s filled with cozy, step-by-step card ideas to spark your creativity when your order arrives — so you’re not staring at supplies wondering where to start.
One of the things I really love about this design is how the layout does a lot of the work for you. By arranging the die cuts in clean vertical rows, you instantly get a structured, balanced look without needing a complicated background. It’s a great reminder that you don’t always need lots of layers to make an impact.
Another win with this card is how the dies from the BBQ Master Bundle really shine here. Instead of building a full scene, you’re using the individual elements—like the skewers and food pieces—to create a pattern. It’s a simple shift in thinking, but it opens up so many creative possibilities with your dies.

The color combination of Lemon Lolly, Calypso Coral, and Crumb Cake keeps everything feeling warm and playful while still grounded. It softens the boldness of the layout just enough so the card doesn’t feel too heavy.
And then there’s that metallic touch. The Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper adds such a unique element with its galvanized, silvery finish. It catches the light in a way that really elevates the die cuts without overpowering the rest of the design. It’s one of those details that makes people pick up the card and take a second look.
Finally, the simple sentiment banner at the bottom keeps everything anchored. It gives your eye a place to rest and finishes the card in a clean, classic way.
How To Make This Card
You’ll find the full supply list and step-by-step instructions below.

Birthday Card Idea for the Grill Masters in your Life!
Supplies Needed
- Lemon Lolly Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Score at 4-1/4"
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" For inside card
- Basic Black Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" For card front
- Garden Poetry Designer Paper: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" Calypso Coral
- Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"
- Basic White Cardstock: 1/2" x 3" For sentiment
- Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper: 2" x 3" (For die-cutting)
- Lemon Lolly, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink Scraps (2" x 2") (For die-cutting)
Instructions
- Fold the Lemon Lolly cardstock at the score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card and decorate as desired.
- Adhere the Basic Black cardstock to the front of the card.
- Adhere the Calypso Coral Garden Poetry Paper at an angle at the top of the Basic Black Cardstock.
- Run the Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper through the Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut 3 of the skewers using the die from the BBQ Master Bundle. Adhere these to the 3-1/4" square piece of Basic White cardstock, spacing them evenly.
- TIP: apply a bit of the glue to a dry sponge, tap off the excess glue on scratch paper, and dab on the back of each skewer. This will apply a thin layer of glue that will make adhering these small pieces easier.
- Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the Garden Poetry paper as shown in the sample.
- Run the scraps of Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly, and Petal Pink through the Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut six mushrooms, 4 lemon slices, and 5 shrimp. Sponge the top edges of the shrimp using a Sponge Dauber and the Calypso Coral ink pad. Adhere all of the die-cut pieces to the skewers as shown in the sample.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the 1/2" strip of Basic White cardstock using Crumb Cake ink. "Banner notch" both ends using scissors and adhere to the bottom of the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish.
