5 Minute Just a Note Card Using Card Sketch 32
Short on time but love to craft? Make this 5 Minute Just a Note Card using Card Sketch 32. If you’re anything like me, your days are packed but your love for crafting never wanes. Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules.I’ll show you how to whip up quick note cards that look anything but rushed.
This card uses Card Sketch 32 which is showcased in our Stampin’ Up! 2025 January-April Occasions Catalog on page 12, Card Sketch #3. (View our digital catalog here.)
To make this Note card even easier to create, I used the fun Toadstool Gardens Sale-A-Bration paper, which you can get for free with a $60 order between now and February 28, 2025. This adorable paper provided the color combination of Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, combined with Gray Granite to soften the bright colors a bit. If you’d like something softer, make sure you check out my Color Combination Library for more inspiration.
I added the Birch 3D Embossing Folder for a bit of depth, and then finished it out with a sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set. Let me show you how easy it is to create this note card!

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Gray Granite cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base. Open the card and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the front of the card. (See tip below.)
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Adhere the 4-1/2” strip of Toadstool Gardens Paper (Pattern #1) to the center of the card as shown in the sample.
- Adhere the Toadstool Gardens Paper #2 to the center of the Designer Paper from the previous step.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the 1-1/4” strip of Basic White cardstock using Melon Mambo ink. Using scissors, “banner notch” the bottom of the cardstock and adhere to the card as shown in the sample to finish.
A Tip from Barb
If you don’t have a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, here’s a simple way to create the embossed background. Cut another piece of Gray Granite cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Spritz lightly with water and use your hands to crumple the cardstock. Crumple fairly well, then flatten out with your hands and adhere to the front of the card. This will create a background similar to the one on this card!
