Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. I’ll show you how to whip up quick and elegant thank you cards that look anything but rushed. This card uses Card Sketch 6, which is showcased in our Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog on page 22. To make this note card even easier to create, I used the beautiful Graceful Greenery Vellum which provided the color combination of Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green, and a touch of Basic White. These colors pair beautifully together and created a clean and elegant design.
The gentle floral images added to the elegance of the card and then I just finished it out with a sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set. Let me show you how easy it is to create this note card!
How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Busy Bee
Busy Bee projects are designed for the beginner or busy papercrafter. This is a basic cardmaking project that can be achieved by someone who has never made a handmade card before. You can view more Busy Bee cards here.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Blackberry Bliss Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Graceful Greenery Vellum: 1-1/2″ x 3″ (3 pieces)
- Basic White Cardstock: 3″ x 3″

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Blackberry Bliss cardstock in half at the 4-1/4″ score line to create your base card.
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside your card.
- Adhere 2 of the pieces of the Graceful Greenery Vellum onto the front of the card, leaving 1″ between the 2 pieces. Tip: add adhesive behind the images so that they don’t show through the Vellum.
- Adhere the 3rd piece of Vellum between the other 2 pieces, moving it about 1/4″ to the right.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the center of the 3″ piece of Basic White cardstock; punch out using the 2″ Circle Punch.
- Adhere the sentiment circle to the front of the card using adhesive to finish.
A Tip from Barb
This is a fun card sketch that can look different depending on the type of pretty paper you use! If you want to step this sketch up a bit, you could dry emboss the background of the card front, add a few embellishments such as ribbon or gems, or add an image with your sentiment on the sentiment circle. The key is to keep it simple and let the beauty of your pretty paper be the focal point of your card!
