How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Worker Bee
Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Night of Navy Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4” (2 pieces)
- Nest of Winter Designer Paper: 4” x 5-1/2”

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Night of Navy Cardstock in half at the score line to create your base card. Adhere one of the 4” x 5-1/4” pieces of Basic White Cardstock inside the card.
- Using the other piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Basic White cardstock, stamp the “tree” image using Black Memento Ink at one end of the cardstock. (Leave room for die-cutting.) Color in images using the Ivory Blend for the skin, the Bronze Blend for the girl’s hair and the tree stand, the Calypso Coral Dark Blend for the boy’s hair, and the Night of Navy Blends for the clothes.
- At the other end of the Basic White cardstock, stamp the sentiment using Black Memento Ink.
- Run the White cardstock through the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut the stamped images using the appropriate dies from the Peaceful Season dies.
- Cut 12” of the Glittered Ribbon and tape one end to the back of the top of the Nest of Winter paper. Thread through the die with the kids on it. Tape the top end of the ribbon to the back of Nests of Winter paper; adhere to card base.
- Tie the bottom ribbon into a bow; use adhesive to secure the die-cut to the card. Adhere the sentiment die-cut to the right of the bow.
- Apply 7 of the Regal Foiled Dots to the tree as ornaments to finish.
