I wanted bright & cheery colors for this card so I went with Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo – a perfect color combination for the person I am sending this card to. How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Busy Bee
Busy Bee projects are designed for the beginner or busy papercrafter. This is a basic cardmaking project that can be achieved by someone who has never made a handmade card before. You can view more Busy Bee cards here.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Basic Black Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Full of Life Designer Paper: 4″ x 5-1/2″ and 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ (for punching)
- Basic White Cardstock: 1-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ (3 pieces)

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Basic Black cardstock in half to create the card base.
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Layer the 4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Full of Life paper to the front of the card.
- Using the three 1-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ pieces of Basic White cardstock, stamp the floral image on the left side of one piece using Peach Pie ink. Clean your stamp and stamp the second piece on the right side using Pumpkin Pie ink. Finish with the final piece stamping the floral image using Melon Mambo ink on the left side.
- Stamp the sentiment in the center of the 2-1/2″ square piece of Full of Life paper using Black Memento ink. Punch out the sentiment using the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. Adhere the sentiment circle to the right side of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
A Tip from Barb
This is the perfect card sketch for whenever you have some pretty paper you’d like to highlight. The 3 pieces of Neutral cardstock can tone down the paperif it’s busy and then just pull your ink colors from the paper! I love when my pretty paper can do the heavy lifting on my cards!😊
