Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Azure Afternoon cardstock in half at the scoreline and burnish well with the Bone Folder.
  2. Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
  3. Using 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the sentiment about 1-1/4″ down from the top of the cardstock using Black Memento ink.
  4. Using the Azure Afternoon ink pad and a small Blending Brush, lightly sponge ink around the sentiment.
  5. Run the Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green cardstocks through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine and cut out the grasses with the appropriate dies from the Garden Meadow Bundle. Adhere the Granny Apple Green “grass” to the Mossy Meadow grass.
  6. Using the Basic White cardstock from Step #4, adhere the grasses from previous step to the bottom of the Basic White cardstock.
  7. Run the White cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out using the “arch” die from the Garden Meadow Bundle. Tip: line up the die so that the sentiment is centered where you want it.
  8. Adhere the “arch” to the center of the card base.
  9. Stamp the Wheelbarrow onto the 3″ square of Basic White cardstock using the Black Memento ink pad. Color in using the Stampin’ Blends. Optional: use the Color Lifter on the Wheelbarrow to remove some of the Azure Afternoon color to make it look aged.
  10. Run the stamped & colored wheelbarrow through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and cut it out using the die from the Garden Meadow die.
  11. To finish, use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the Wheelbarrow to the bottom of the base card as shown in the sample.

A Tip from Barb

Although this card looks difficult to make, it’s actually fairly easy thanks to the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. The key is to glue the 2 “grass” dies onto the Basic White paper before you cut out the arch. 😊
