Let’s Talk About Color
The color combo of Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, and Cajun Craze gives the cards a playful, bold feel—bright enough to catch the eye but still warm and friendly. There’s a mix of texture too, thanks to the Splendid Autumn Designer Paper and the White All-Season Velvet Paper used on the Queen Bee version. Talk about soft and cuddly.
As you move through each card level, you’ll see how small changes—adding a color block, fussy cutting the scarf, or layering die-cut bones and toys—bring the whole design to life. My goal was to make it easy to see how each version builds on the last so you can borrow the ideas you love and skip the ones you don’t. There’s no wrong way to make these cards.
