Memorable Blooms Thinking of You Card
Sometimes, the simplest cards can have the biggest impact. The Memorable Blooms Thinking of You Card is a beautiful example of how minimal design, a soothing monochromatic color palette, and a thoughtful sentiment can come together to create something truly special. Featuring soft blues and the sentiment “You’ve Been on My Mind,” this card is perfect for letting someone know you care.

A monochromatic card uses different shades of the same color, creating a cohesive and polished look. For this card, soft and rich blues work together beautifully to evoke a sense of calm, comfort, and connection—exactly what you want in a thinking of you card.
By sticking to a single color family, you eliminate the guesswork of color coordination, making this an easy technique to master. Plus, monochromatic designs allow textures, layering, and stamping techniques to shine without feeling overwhelming.
If you’re looking for an easy yet elegant card to make, this design is perfect. With just a few supplies and the gorgeous Memorable Blooms Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up!, you can craft a card that feels both modern and timeless. Whether you’re new to stamping or an experienced crafter, this project is a reminder that sometimes less really is more.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Azure Afternoon cardstock in half at the score line to create the card base.
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Line up the 4 pieces of Azure Afternoon cardstock so that the 1-3/4″ x 3″ pieces are in the upper left and lower right and the square pieces are in the upper right and lower left. Butt them right up to each other so that there are no gaps. (If you’re nervouse about the pieces moving, you can use Washi Tape or non-stick tape to the back of the card pieces to secure them, then flip over to stamp on the front.))
- Using the Blueberry Bushel ink pad, ink up the large large leaf image and stamp in the upper left, turn the stamp and using the same ink, stamp in the lower right. (See sample for placement.)
- Ink up the small floral image and stamp above and below the prior to images using the Blueberry Bushel ink. (See sample for placement.)
- Keeping the stamped pieces in the correct order, adhere to the 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock.
- Using scissors, “banner notch” both sides of the 3/4″ strip of Blueberry Bushel cardstock. Adhere to the center of the card.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the center of the 1″ strip of Basic White cardstock using Blueberry Bushel ink. Adhere over the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- To finish, add 3 of the Night of Navy Ombre Matte Dots as desired.
