Short on time but love to craft? Make this 5 Minute Thank You Card using Card Sketch 38. If you’re anything like me, your days are packed but your love for crafting never wanes. Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. I’ll show you how to whip up quick handmade cards that look anything but rushed.
This card uses Card Sketch 38 which is a modified version of Card Sketch #14, showcased in our Stampin’ Up! 2025 January-April Mini Catalog on page 12. (View our digital catalog here.)
To make this Thank You card even easier to create, I used the gorgeous Beautiful Bokeh Paper. This subtle paper provided the soft color combination of Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, and Balmy Blue. If this is too soft a color palette for you, please check out my Color Combination Library which has lots of different options for you to choose from.
I finished the card out with a sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set. How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Busy Bee
Busy Bee projects are designed for the beginner or busy papercrafter. This is a basic cardmaking project that can be achieved by someone who has never made a handmade card before. You can view more Busy Bee cards here.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Bubble Bath Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Beautiful Bokeh Paper (Berry Burst): 3” x 4-3/4”
- Beautiful Bokeh Paper (Balmy Blue): 3-1/4” x 3-1/2”
- Beautiful Bokeh Paper (Bubble Bath): 3” x 3”
- Bubble Bath Cardstock: 1/2” x 2”
- Basic White Cardstock: 1-1/2” square (for die-cutting)

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Bubble Bath Cardstock in half at the score line. Reopen and run the front of the card through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Folder. Refold card and burnish well for a crisp fold to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Using the 3” x 4-3/4” Berry Burst Beautiful Bokeh Paper, use your scissors to cut a “banner notch” at the bottom of the paper. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Using the 3” square of Bubble Bath Beautiful Bokeh Paper, use the 2-3/8” Circle Punch to cut out the circle. Adhere to the 3-1/4” x 3-1/2” Beautiful Bokeh paper and adhere to the front of the card.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the 1/2” strip of Bubble Bath card stock using Berry Burst ink. Adhere to the card as shown in the sample using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tie a bow using the White Baker’s Twine and adhere to the sentiment strip using a Mini Glue Dot.
- Run the 1-1/2” square of Basic White cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut the small butterfly and small thorax from the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid folder and dies.
- Adhere the butterfly thorax to the center of the butterfly. Adhere the butterfly to the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish. Tip: I placed Dimensionals down the center of the butterfly so they wouldn’t show.
