Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Basic White cardstock in half to create your card base.
  2. Run the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to the front of the card.
  3. Using the 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the Moose and the Owl using Black Memento ink.
  4. Color in the Moose using the Ivory & Bronze Blends, and the Cherry Cobbler Blends for the scarf and socks. Color in the Owl using Cherry Cobbler Blends for the hat and Ivory for his beak. Use the Light Smoky Slate Blend to lightly color in his feathers.
  5. Run the White cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and use the Christmas Friends dies to cut out both characters. Adhere to the bottom of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Using scissors, “flag notch” both ends of the 1/2″ strip of Real Red cardstock. Adhere to the card using Adhesive.
  7. Stamp the sentiment onto the 1″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock using Black Memento ink. Adhere to the center of the Real Red strip to finish.

A Tip from Barb

This card is actually super simple but does require a Cut & Emboss Machine for the Painted Tree Embossing Folder, which is why I upgraded it to a Worker Bee card. To simplify the card, leave off the folder and cut your images out with scissors. It’s still an easy peasy card!
