Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. I’ll show you how to whip up quick handmade cards that look anything but rushed.

Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. This card uses Card Sketch 18, which is showcased in our Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog on page 22. (View our digital catalog here.)

To make this Just a Note card even easier to create, I used the gorgeous Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper and pulled the colors for my card from the paper. This created a clean and whimsical design which can be duplicated in any color. Need some color inspiration? Make sure you check out my Color Combination Library for ideas!


How To Make This Card

Project Skill Level: Busy Bee

Busy Bee projects are designed for the beginner or busy papercrafter. This is a basic cardmaking project that can be achieved by someone who has never made a handmade card before. You can view more Busy Bee cards here.

Cardstock Measurements:

  • Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score at 4-1/4”
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Unbounded Beauty Paper (floral):  1-3/8” x 3-3/4” (3 pieces)
  • Petunia Pop Cardstock:  3/4” x 4”
  • Basic White Cardstock:  3” x 3

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Basic White Cardstock in half at the scoreline to create your card base.
  2. Adhere one of the Unbounded Beauty Paper strips the at the top of the card, add another at the bottom of the card.
  3. Using your Paper Snips scissors, “flag notch” both ends of the Petunia Pop cardstock. 
  4. Adhere the Petunia Pop and last strip of Unbounded Beauty paper to the center of the card as shown in the sample.
  5. Stamp the sentiment onto the 3” square of Basic White cardstock using Petunia Pop ink.  Punch out using the 2” circle punch.
  6. Adhere the sentiment circle to the center of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown in the sample to finish.
