One of the things I love about this card is how much interest you can create with just a few thoughtful details.
The Crumb Cake background features a repeating winter-inspired pattern that gives the card plenty of texture and personality. The Mossy Meadow card base frames everything with a rich, outdoorsy green. Then there’s that Very Vanilla circle with the delicate pinecone branch and “Warm Wishes” greeting. It gives your eye a natural place to rest and makes the sentiment feel like the star of the card.
A blue ribbon tied into a little bow and a few coordinating embellishments finish everything off. Nothing too fussy, just a cozy card that’s fun to make!

For this card, I chose Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla. Mossy Meadow is a deep, earthy green that reminds me of evergreen trees in the winter. It adds richness without making the card feel too dark.
Crumb Cake brings in that warm, natural look of kraft paper and pinecones. It’s a wonderful neutral for outdoorsy designs. And Very Vanilla softens the whole combination. It’s a little warmer than bright white, which helps give the card that comfortable, welcoming feeling.
Together, these colors create a peaceful winter look without relying on traditional Christmas red and green. The little blue ribbon adds an unexpected touch of color that makes the whole design feel fresh.

- To finish, add 3 of the Secret Sea Dewdrop embellishments as desired.
Notes
If you’re new to cardmaking, this is the kind of project I’d encourage you to try. The layout is straightforward, and the repeating background pattern does a lot of the decorating for you. That means you can spend your time enjoying the stamping instead of worrying about complicated techniques.
The Winter Adventures Bundle includes winter-themed stamps and coordinating dies, giving you plenty of options for other projects once you’ve made this card. And remember, your cards don’t have to be perfect. A handmade greeting is special because someone took the time to make it.
Here’s my favorite part about this card: you don’t need a special holiday to send it. Maybe you have a friend who’s been under the weather, a neighbor who’s having a tough week, or a family member you haven’t talked to in a while.
Imagine opening your mailbox on a cold winter afternoon and finding a handmade card that says “Warm Wishes.” It’s a small gesture, but it tells someone they’re remembered. And that’s why I love making cards in the first place. We get to enjoy a little creative time, and someone else gets a little sunshine in their mailbox.
