Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. This card uses Holiday Card Sketch 2, which is showcased in our Stampin’ Up! 2024 Holiday Catalog on page 16. (View our digital catalog here.)

To make this Thank You card even easier to create, I used the whimsical Autumn To Remember Designer Paper and pulled the colors for my card from the paper. This created a clean and elegant design, with a pop of Early Espresso Ink for the sentiment. If you’d prefer a softer color palette, make sure you check out my Color Combination Library here.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Cajun Craze Cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  2. Adhere the 1-1/2″ strip of Autumn To Remember Paper (see tip below) to the middle of the card front.
  3. Using scissors, cut all 4 corners of the 1-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Autumn To Remember Paper to create your tag. Adhere to the left side of the card using Stampin’ Dimesionals.
  4. Stamp the sentiment onto the 1/2″ strip of Petal Pink cardstock using Early Espresso Ink. Adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.

A Tip from Barb

This is a fun card sketch that can be altered in many different ways. If the Designer Paper you’re using doesn’t have a “focal point” pattern, such as the deer image on this card, use stamps or a pattern that’s a bit more intricate. It’s better if you always use a neutral pattern for the 1-1/2″strip of paper. If there is a very neutral pattern of the paper, you can use that for the sentiment strip and that will pull it all together! Experiment and have fun!
