Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. This card uses Card Sketch 15, which is showcased in our 2025 Stampin’ Up! January-April Mini-Catalog on page 12. (View our digital catalog here.)

To make this Birthday card even easier to create, I used the gorgeous Wildflower Birthday Designer Paper and pulled the colors for my card from the paper. This created a clean and elegant color combination of Blueberry Bushel, Peach Pie, and Pretty in Pink. If you’d like a brighter color combination, make sure you check out my Color Combination Library, where you’re sure to find a color palette you’ll love!

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Blueberry Bushel Cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base. Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Adhere the Peach Pie cardstock to the front of the card at an angle. Run the 3-1/2” x 5” Wildflower Birthday Paper through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the front of the card.
- Using the various Wildflower Birthday die-cuts, adhere to the card using adhesive, except for the balloon, which is adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. (See sample for placement)
- Stamp the sentiment onto the 1/2” strip of Basic White cardstock Blueberry Bushel ink; adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
A Tip from Barb
This is a fun card sketch that can be altered in many different ways. If the Designer Paper you’re using doesn’t have a “neutral” pattern, just leave it off. This design works best if you can use two Color Buddies from the paper, but if that doesn’t work, simply use White cardstock for the sentiment strip and change the ink color to another color pulled from the paper!
