How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Worker Bee
Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Boho Blue Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Take To The Sky Designer Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Garden Green Cardstock: 3/4″ x 4″
- Boho Blue Cardstock: 1-3/4″ x 2″
- Basic White Cardstock: 1-1/2″ x 1-3/4″
- Basic White Cardstock: 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ (for die-cutting)
- Real Red Cardstock: 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ (for die-cutting)
- Boho Blue Cardstock: 3/4″ x 4″ (for die-cutting)

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Boho Blue cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside your card.
- Using the Take To The Sky Designer Paper, stamp the raindrops at the top of the paper using Boho Blue ink. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Adhere the 3/4″ strip of Garden Green cardstock to the bottom of the Designer Paper.
- Using the Memento Black ink pad, stamp the sentiment onto the 1-1/2″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock. Using scissors, “flag notch” the bottom of the cardstock.
- Using scissors, flag notch the bottom of the 1-3/4″ x 2″ piece of Boho Blue cardstock and adhere the Basic White sentiment tag onto the Boho Blue tag; adhere to the front of the card in the upper left corner as shown in the sample.
- Run the 3/4″ strip of the Boho Blue cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the 2 puddles using the 2 puddles from the Umbrella Days Bundle Dies. Adhere to the Garden Green strip at the bottom of the card.
- Stamp the person holding the umbrella image onto the 2-3/4″ square of Basic White cardstock using Black Memento ink. Color in using the Dark Daffodil Delight Blend, the Dark Boho Blue Blend, and the Ivory or Bronze Blend. Set aside.
- Ink the image used in Step #8, using Black Memento ink, and stamp the umbrella portion only onto the Real Red cardstock. Run both the White cardstock from Step #8 and the Real Red cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine, cutting our using person and umbrella top dies from the Umbrella Days Bundle Dies.
- Adhere the red cardstock umbrella to the person die-cut and adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add a small Textured Dot to the end of the umbrella to finish.
A Tip from Barb
If you don’t have Blends, you can use Watercolor Pencils or an ink pad with a Blender Pen to color in the main image.
