Easy Fall Card That Looks Harder Than It Is

This easy fall card gets its WOW factor from Painted Patch Designer Series Paper, a hand-cut pumpkin, and a few simple finishing touches. No complicated techniques required.

Supplies Needed
  

  • Lost Lagoon Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4")
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (inside card)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
  • Painted Patch Paper: 3-3/4" x 5" (gourd images)
  • Painted Patch Paper: 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" (plaid background)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 2" x 5" (scrap for cutting images)

Instructions
 

  • Fold the Lost Lagoon cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  • Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card base and decorate as desired.
  • Adhere the 3-3/4" x 5" Painted Patch paper to the 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Basic White cardstock. Adhere the 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" plaid Painted Patch paper. Cut 6" of the ribbon and adhere to the back of Basic White cardstock and adhere to the front of the card base.
  • Using the 2" scrap of Basic White cardstock, stamp the pumpkin and the sentiment onto the cardstock using Secret Sea ink.
  • Color in the pumpkin using the Lost Lagoon Blends.
  • Fussy cut out each image using scissors and adhere to the front of the card as shown in the sample using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • To finish, add several of the Pool Party Sparkle Sequins as desired.
