Coffee and a Card with The Beautiful Gallery Paper
If you’re looking for a handmade Thinking of You card that’s beautiful, elegant, and beginner-friendly, you’re in the right place. This Coffee and a Card with the Beautiful Gallery Paper by Stampin’ Up!® is one of those projects that looks impressive but comes together in minutes—even if you don’t consider yourself crafty (yet!).
I made a very similar card for this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. I used the same design and sketch – I just changed the paper and colors.
To create this card, I started with a Secret Sea cardstock base, which pulls out the moody shadows in the floral paper and keeps everything soft and serene. I layered on Basic White for contrast, and used the “You’ve been on my mind” sentiment stamped in matching ink to tie everything together. And let’s talk about that Beautiful Gallery DSP—it’s dreamy! The brushstroke roses have the look of fine art, making your card feel extra special without any added effort.
This layout is especially great if you’re just getting started with cardmaking. There are no dies, no fussy cutting—just simple stamping, layering, and a quick trick to fold the paper corner down. It’s a layout you can reuse with any paper and sentiment combo, too!

A Tip from Barb
This will work for any Designer Paper where the back of the paper coordinates with the front. With Stampin’ Up!® papers, this gives you a lot of options!
Don’t be afraid to use sentiments of any size, this sketch will work with most of them!
