Just a Note Made With the Beautiful Motifs Bundle

Share this:

This Just a Note made with the Beautiful Motifs Bundle by Stampin’ Up!® is a lovely way to remind someone they’re on your mind. There’s something sweet and timeless about sending a card that isn’t tied to a birthday or holiday—just a simple hello in the mailbox that says “I’m thinking of you.”

With just a few thoughtfully chosen elements—like the Joined Together Embossing Folder and that gorgeous embpssed metallic foil from the Flower Garden Specialty Paper—you can create a card that looks elegant but is beginner-friendly. The delicate fern motif from the dies gives just the right touch of nature, and that layered look with the soft gray shadowing behind it? So pretty. And let’s not forget the little stamped sentiment—“just a note”—that turns this into an any-occasion card you’ll want to make again and again.

I made this card in one sitting with just a handful of supplies, but it really has that wow factor when you see it in person. That shimmer from the foil, the deep texture from the embossing, and the pop of Strawberry Slush cardstock make it feel finished and intentional. It’s the kind of card that says, “I thought of you,” without needing anything more.

For this color palette, I kept it very simple with a classic “pink and gray” theme. Combining Basic Gray with Smoky Slate helped soften the brighter hue of Strawberry Slush and creating an elegant color palette I really like! This card would look great in any color combination – check out my Color Combination Library for more ideas!
