Paired with Traditional Labels Dies, Wink of Stella, and Hues of Blue embellishments, it’s a simple yet elegant all-occasion design you can make in minutes.
- Blueberry Bushel Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (2 pieces)
- Lights of Aurora Designer Paper: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
- Basic White Cardstock: Scrap for Die-Cutting (approx 2-1/2" x 3-1/2")
- Blueberry Bushel Cardstock: 1/2" x 3-3/4"
Fold the Blueberry Bushel cardstock in half at the 4-1/4" score line to create your card base.
Adhere one of the 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of Basic White cardstock inside the card base.
Adhere the Lights of Aurora paper to the other 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock and adhere to the front of the card.
Stamp the focal image onto the scrap of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color in the River using the Dark Balmy Blue Blend; color in the sky area lightly using the Light Balmy Blue Blend.
Run the White cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut using the 2-1/8" x 3-1/8" Traditional Labels Die. Tip: if you don't have the dies or a die-cutting machine, just cut your Basic White cardstock to 2-1/8" x 3-1/8" and use the rectangle.
Using scissors, "banner notch" both ends of the 1/2" strip of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. Adhere to the back of the Basic White cardstock as shown in the sample. Adhere to the front of the card as desired.
To finish, add 3 of the Hues of Blue Flowers as desired; add Wink of Stella to the stamped scene as desired to add a bit of sparkle.
Worker Bee (for Confident Cardmakers)
Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.
