Supplies Needed

  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Blueberry Bushel Cardstock: 2-1/2" x 4-1/4"
  • Lovely & Beautiful Paper: 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" (Fresh Freesia floral pattern)
  • Blueberry Bushel Cardstock: 2-3/4" x 4"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 2-1/2" x 3-3/4"
  • Fresh Freesia Cardstock: 3/4" x 2-1/4"

Instructions

  • Fold the Granny Apple Green cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base. Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
  • Adhere the Lovely & Beautiful paper to the 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock. Adhere to the front of the card on the left side, about 1/4" from the left.
  • Using the 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the trio of flowers on the right side using Black Memento ink. Color in using the Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends for the leaves and the Light Fresh Freesia Blend for the flowers. Tip: I used the Color Lifter to remove most of the ink from the middle of the flower.
  • Stamp the 3 ants (see sample) to the left of the flower using Black Memento ink. Color in the images using the Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends, and the Light Blueberry Bushel Blend for the flag and the Light Smoky Slate Blend for the horn.
  • Using the "lined" stamp, stamp along the bottom of the cardstock using Granny Apple Green ink to simulate grass. Adhere the stamped Basic White cardstock to the 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock; adhere to the front of the card.
  • If desired, add Wink of Stella to the flowers and any other stamped images you'd like.
  • Using Scissors, "banner notch" the right side of the 3/4" strip of Fresh Freesia cardstock. Stamp the sentiment onto the banner using Black Memento ink. Adhere to the card as shown in the sample using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish.
