Simple Handmade Card Idea for Any Occasion
Create an elegant handmade card in minutes using the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set, Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper, and Dreamy Flower Embellishments. This beginner-friendly layout is perfect for all occasions and easy to duplicate.
Supplies Needed
- Secret Sea Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4")
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (inside card)
- Fresh Freesia Cardstock: 1-3/4" x 2-1/2"
- Fresh Freesia Cardstock: 1-3/4" x 3"
- Valley in Bloom Specialty Paper: 3-1/4" x 4" (green and white velvet pattern)
- Basic White Cardstock: 2" x 2" (scrap for punching)
Instructions
- Fold the Secret Sea cardstock in half at the score line. Adhere the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card and decorate as desired.
- Apply the 2 pieces of Fresh Freesia cardstock to the upper left and lower right corners of the card base as shown in the sample.
- Using a small Blending Brush, lightly sponge Fresh Freesia ink over the White Velvet areas on the Valley in Bloom Paper. Adhere to the center of the card front.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the 2” scrap of Basic White cardstock using Secret Sea ink. Punch out the sentiment using the 1 3/4” Circle punch.
- Cut 7” of the Berry Burst ribbon and zig-zag back & forth on the back of the sentiment circle; adhere to front of card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- To finish, add several of the Dreamy Flowers as desired.
