Handmade Birthday Card using the Birthday Song Stamp Set
Make a playful handmade birthday card with the Birthday Song Stamp Set and a fresh Peaceful Pine, Pool Party, and Timid Tiger color combination.
Supplies Needed
- Peaceful Pine Cardstock: 4-1/4" x 11" (scored at 5-1/2")
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (for inside card)
- Waterside Retreat Paper: 4" x 5-1/2" (seagull pattern)
- Peaceful Pine: 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"
- Basic White Cardstock: 2-1/2" x 4"
- Timid Tiger Cardstock: 1/2" x 1"
Instructions
- Fold the Peaceful Pine cardstock in half at the 5-1/2" score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside your card and decorate as desired.
- Adhere the Waterside Retreat paper to the front of the card.
- Stamp the animal image onto the the 2-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock using Black ink. Color in the animals using the Dark Gray Granite and Dark Crumb Cake Dark Blends. Color in the "sand" using the Light Crumb Cake Blend and the rocks using the Light Gray Granite Blend, Color in the puffin beaks & feet using the Light Timid Tiger Blend.
- Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the 2-3/4" piece of Peaceful Pine cardstock and adhere to the front of the card, about 1/4" up from the bottom of the card.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the left side of the Timid Tiger cardstock using Black ink. Banner notch the right side of the cardstock using scissors. Adhere the sentiment Banner to the front of the card as shown in the sample using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- To finish, tie a bow using the Crumb Cake Baker's Twine and adhere to the sentiment strip as desired.
