Bring a smile to someone's birthday with this whimsical flamingo birthday card! Featuring the Birthday Song Stamp Set, Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper, and a vibrant sunset-inspired color palette, this easy handmade card is full of personality and perfect for celebrating friends and family.

Supplies Needed

  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4")
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (inside card)
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/2"
  • Scenic Coast Specialty Paper: 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Barely Blush Cardstock: 3/4" x 2-1/2" Sentiment
  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock: 1/2" x 3"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"

Instructions

  • Fold the Gorgeous Grape cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  • Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White cardstock inside the card; decorate as desired.
  • Adhere the Scenic Coast Specialty Paper to the Bubble Bath cardstock, then adhere to the front of the card.
  • Stamp the Flamingos onto the 3-1/4" scrap of Basic White cardstock. Color in using the Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. Fussy cut out the flamingos using the Detail Scissors. Adhere to the bottom left of the Scenic Coast Specialty Paper using Adhesive. Note: I only put adhesive on the bodies so that I could "fluff up" the wings, heads, and feet.
  • Using the Black Ink Pad, stamp the musical notes 3 times so that they look like the flamingos are singing.
  • Stamp the sentiment onto the 3/4" strip of Barely Blush cardstock using Black Ink. Adhere to the center of the 1/2" strip of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Use the Detail Scissors to cut a v-notch at each end of the Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Adhere to the card on the right side using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish.
