Elegant Floral Card with the Bloom Boutique Suite
Create an elegant all-occasion floral card using the Bloom Boutique Suite Collection, layered die cuts, specialty paper, and delicate butterfly accents.
Supplies Needed
- Hydrangea Hue Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4")
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
- Bloom Boutique Specialty Paper #1: 4" x 5-1/4"
- Bloom Boutique Specialty Paper #2: 1-3/4" x 4-3/4"
- Peaceful Pine Cardstock: 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" (scraps for die-cutting)
- Basic White Cardstock: 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" (scraps for die-cutting)
- Basic White Cardstock: 5/8" x 2" (sentiment)
Instructions
- Fold the Hydrangea Hue cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card; decorate as desired.
- Adhere the 2 pieces of Bloom Boutique paper together as shown in the sample and then adhere to front of card.
- Run the Peaceful Pine cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut 2 of the large leaf die from the Boutique Blossoms Bundle Dies. Set aside.
- Using the 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" Basic White Cardstock, stamp the large and small outline flowers using Hydrangea Hue ink, leaving space between the two for die-cutting. Ink up the large bold flower using the same ink, stamp off on scratch paper, and stamp inside the large outline flower. Repeat with the small flower.
- Run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut both flowers using the Boutique Blossoms Dies.
- Adhere the 2 leaves and the small flower onto the front of the card using adhesive. See sample for placement.
- Using the 5/8" strip of Basic White cardstock, stamp the sentiment using the Golden Glow ink pad. Adhere just the left side of the sentiment strip to the right side of the large flower. Adhere both to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- To finish the card, add 3 of the Golden Glow Butterflies as desired to finish the card.
