Easy Lily of the Valley Birthday Card for Beginners
Create a quick and cheerful beginner birthday card using the Lily of the Valley Stamp Set, Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper, and Shimmering Dots.
Supplies Needed
- Pool Party Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4")
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
- Peaceful Pine Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
- Basic White Cardstock: 3-3/8" x 3-5/8"
- Valley In Bloom Designer Paper: 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" (Striped Pattern)
- Valley In Bloom Designer Paper: 1" x 3-1/2" (Floral Pattern, need 3 pieces)
- Hydrangea Hue Cardstock: 3/4" x 3-1/4"
Instructions
- Fold the Pool Party cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White cardstock inside your card and decorate as desired.
- Adhere the 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of plaid Valley In Bloom Designer Paper to the Peaceful Pine cardstock, about 1/4" up from the bottom. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Adhere the 3 pieces of floral Valley in Bloom Designer Paper to the 3-3/8" x 3-5/8" Basic White cardstock, spacing evenly. Adhere to the front of the card as shown in the sample.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the Hydrangea Hue cardstock using Peaceful Pine ink. Banner notch both ends of the cardstock using scissors. Adhere to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Add 3 of the Shimmering Dots to the front of the card as desired to finish.
