Easy Beginner Card using the Cutest Crew Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!®

This simple hello card uses the Cutest Crew stamp set, designer paper, and Stampin’ Blends to create a fun and cheerful handmade card. The easy layout and playful images make it perfect for a quick project that’s full of personality and ready to brighten someone’s day.

Supplies Needed
  

  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4")
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Homemade Sweetness Designer Paper: 2" x 5-1/4" (neutral pattern)
  • Homemade Sweetness Designer Paper: 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" (floral pattern)
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock: 1-1/4" x 4-1/4"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 1" x 4"

Instructions
 

  • Fold the Granny Apple Green cardstock in half at the 4-1/4" score line to create your card base.
  • Using the paw print stamp, stamp several times across the bottom of the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Adhere the Basic White cardstock inside the card base.
  • Adhere the 2" x 5-1/4" Homemade Sweetness Designer Paper (neutral pattern) to the front of the card, about 1/4" down from the top fold.
  • Stamp the "hello" on the right side of the card, under the Designer Paper, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • Using the 1" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the puppy stamp in the center of the cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color in the collars and scarves using the Misty Moonlight Blends. Color in the flowers are desired using the Daffodil Delight Blends and the leaves using the Dark Granny Apple Green Blend.
  • Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the 1-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock.
  • Wrap about 8" of the Misty Moonlight 1/4" Trim around the top of the 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" Handmade Sweetness Designer Paper (floral pattern) and tie into a knot or bow.
  • Adhere the left side of the puppy stamped image onto the Hamade Sweetness (floral) Designer Paper, about 1/4" over from the left side. Note: do not put adhesive onto the puppy image where it hangs off the Designer Paper.
  • Adhere the Designer Paper/puppy image to the front of the card as shown in the sample using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish.
