Cute Valentine Kisses Bear Hugs Card
This sweet handmade card features an adorable bear from the Valentine Kisses Stamp Set framed in a stitched square window. Soft colors and simple layers keep the design clean and cheerful. It’s an easy card that works for many occasions when you want to send a little love.
Supplies Needed
- Thick Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
- Coastal Cabana Cardstock: 3-3/4" x 5"
- Basic White Cardstock: 3: x 4-1/2"
Instructions
- Fold the 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Thick Basic White cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the Coastal Cabana cardstock to the front of the card at an angle, as shown in the sample.
- Place the 2" square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies onto the center of the 3" x 4-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock, about 1/2" up from the bottom. Run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Tip: if you don't have these dies, simply cut a 2" square from a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
- Stamp the sentiment above the square "hole" using Memento Black ink. Adhere the White cardstock to the front of the cardstock. Note: I know it doesn't look like it but the White cardstock is adhered straight up & down on the card.
- Stamp the bear at the bottom of the die-cut square using Memento Black ink. Color in the bear using the Bronze & Ivory Blends. Using a small Blending Brush, lightly sponge Coastal Cabana ink around the bear. Fit the square back into the die-cut spot on the front of the card to finish.
