Clean and Simple Seahorse Thank You Card Idea

This clean and simple thank you card uses the Thoughtful Octopus Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies, and a fresh coastal color palette to create a quick card with big impact.

Supplies Needed

  • Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4)
  • Coastal Cabana Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-3/4" x 5"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3" x 4" (for die-cutting)

Instructions

  • Fold the Basic White cardstock at the 4-1/4" score line to create your card base. Decorate the inside of the card as desired.
  • Place the 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock in the center of the base card - do not use adhesive yet but you might want to use a temporary tape to keep it from shifting on the cardstock.
  • Using the speckle stamps and the Coastal Cabana ink pad, stamp a line of speckles down the right side of the 2 cardstocks, reinking the stamps time. Set aside.
  • Run the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and use the 1/2" x 1-1/2" Banner Die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the banner from the center of the Coastal Cabana cardstock. Set the small banner aside for now.
  • Adhere the 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock to the Coastal Cabana cardstock, and then to the base card.
  • Run the 3" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut three of the 1-1/4" circles from the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the small seahorse on each circle using Timid Tiger ink. Ink up the smallest speckle stamp using Coastal Cabana ink, stamp off 1-2 times, and then stamp onto the edges of one of the circles. Repeat as desired for all 3 circles.
  • Stamp the sentiment onto the Coastal Cabana banner from Step #4 using Timid Tiger ink. Adhere the banner to the bottom of one of the circles, apply glue only where they are attached.
  • To finish, add the circles to the front of the card as shown in the sample or as desired.
