A Simple Thank You Card Easy Enough for Beginner Stampers
Create a beginner-friendly thank you card using the Flowers Fair and Paradise Garden Stamp Sets. This simple design features Stampin’ Blends coloring and a bright, cheerful color combination.
Supplies Needed
- Pool Party Cardstock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (inside card)
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/2" (card front)
- Basic White Cardstock: 1" x 4" (sentiment)
- Timid Tiger Cardstock: 1/2" x 5"
Instructions
- Fold the Pool Party cardstock in half at the score line. Adhere the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Stamp the Flowers Fair stamp onto the 4” x 5-1/2” piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
- Color in the large flowers using the Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends. Color in the small flowers using the Pool Party Blends and the Dark Timid Tiger Blend for the centers. Color in the leaves and stems using the Granny Apple Green Blends.
- Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the front of the card.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Paradise Garden stamp set onto the 1” x 4” piece of Basic White cardstock using the Timid Tiger ink pad. Adhere the 1/2” strip of Timid Tiger cardstock to the back of the sentiment strip and angle both ends using scissors.
- Adhere the sentiment strip to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
