Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold the Basic White cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  2. Adhere the 3/4” x 4” strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock in the center of the card.  Adhere the 1” strip above the cardstock and the 1/2” strip below the cardstock, leaving about a 1/4” in between each strip.
  3. Ink the round Elements of Text stamp using Cherry Cobbler ink.  Stamp off 2 times onto your scratch sheet and then stamp onto the  3-1/2” x 4-1/4” piece of Basic White Cardstock.
  4. Stamp the Spotlight on Nature floral image over the stamped text using Black Memento ink.  Stamp the sentiment to the left of the flower stems using the same ink.
  5. Color in the leaves of the floral image using the Dark Old Olive Blend.  Color in the bottom of the flowers using the Dark Cherry Cobbler (See tip below for adding depth to the flowers.)
  6. Adhere the White cardstock to the Old Olive card stock and adhere to the center of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.

A Tip from Barb

To add a bit more depth to your flowers, color in the bottom of the flowers using the Dark Cherry Cobbler Blend, than quickly use Wink of Stella to pull color out to the top of the flower. I recommend you work one petal at a time for the best results.
