Creating a soft yet elegant Thank You Card using Snowy Delight Decorative Masks is easy to do and reminds us how satisfying simple stamping can be. Thank You Card Using Snowy Delight Decorative Masks featuring a soft Crumb Cake snowflake design made with the Snowy Delight Decorative Masks, layered on Bubble Bath and Basic White cardstock, accented with pink gems and Crumb Cake twine.

This design is especially perfect if you’re newer to cardmaking—or if you just want a quick project that looks polished in minutes. The Snowy Delight Decorative Masks do all the heavy lifting here. Their layered snowflake patterns add depth and texture to your background with almost no effort. A little Crumb Cake ink, a Blending Brush, and a light hand are all it takes to make those delicate shapes appear as if they’ve been carefully embossed. It’s one of those “how did she do that?” moments that always feels good to create and even better to send.

For this card, I paired the masks with the Simply Said stamp set, a go-to for clean, classic sentiments that work with any occasion. The soft Bubble Bath layer adds a subtle pop of color, while the Crumb Cake card base keeps everything warm and neutral—perfect for year-round gratitude cards. The finishing touches are simple but effective: a few Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems for sparkle and a bow of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine for a cozy, handmade feel.

What I love most about this project is how beginner-friendly it is. There’s no need for die-cutting, embossing, or fancy tools—just paper, ink, and a mask. If you’ve ever wanted to try ink blending but weren’t sure where to start, this card is a great place to practice. Using a light circular motion with your blending brush, start at the edge of the mask and build color gradually. The key is to keep your pressure soft so you get that beautiful gradient effect without harsh lines.

And let’s talk about color!

This card is proof that soft shades can still make a big impact. The combination of Crumb Cake, Bubble Bath, and Basic White creates a cozy, wintery feel without leaning too cold or traditional. It’s that perfect blend of warmth and sweetness — like a mug of cocoa on a snowy afternoon. Crumb Cake keeps the snowflake subtle and elegant, while Bubble Bath adds a gentle pop of pink that instantly brightens the card. It’s a reminder that winter cards don’t have to be blue and silver to feel seasonal — sometimes a touch of blush is all you need to make your handmade card feel fresh and unexpected.

This layout is simple, which makes it a dream for stampers who need a card in a hurry—but it’s also super adaptable. You could change the colors, switch the sentiment, or even change the card from landscape to portrait. Either way, the bones of this card make it easy to recreate and modify for any occasion.

The best part? You can put it together in about 20 minutes, and it looks like something from a boutique card shop. Stampin’ Up! products make it so easy to mix and match textures, colors, and tools in a way that feels intentional and fun—not overwhelming.

If you’re just getting started with stamping, give this one a try—you’ll be amazed at how fast it comes together. And if you’re a more experienced crafter, think of it as your creative “palette cleanser.” The kind of simple, stress-free project that helps you rediscover why you fell in love with papercrafting in the first place.

With Crumb Cake ink, a blending brush, and a touch of Bubble Bath cardstock, you’ll make a simple handmade thank you card that’s perfect for any season. Add a few gems and twine for the finishing touch—proof that beautiful cards don’t have to be complicated!

Cardstock Measurements

  • Crumb Cake Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (inside card)
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-3/4" x 5"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 1/2" x 2"

Step-By-Step Instructions

  • Fold the Crumb Cake cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  • Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
  • Place the 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock onto a scrap piece of paper. Optional: secure it with Washi Tape or Painter's Tape so that it doesn't move. Lay Snowy Delight Decorative Mask #1 in the lower right corner of the cardstock. Using a Blending Brush, lightly sponge Crumb Cake ink over the mask as desired.
  • Remove Mask #1 and place Mask #3 over the sponged snowflake, lining up the snowflake. Use the same Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink pad to sponge more ink over the mask as desired.
  • Remove the mask and repeat the previous 2 steps in the upper left corner. When done sponging, clean the two masks by running under cool water and then let air dry.
  • Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the Bubble Bath cardstock and adhere to the front of the card.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set onto the 1/2" strip of Basic White cardstock using Bubble Bath ink.
  • Cut about 12" of the Crumb Cake Baker's Twine and tie into a bow; adhere to the back of the sentiment strip using a Stampin' Dimensionals. Add 2 more Stampin' Dimensionals and adhere the sentiment strip to the front of the card as desired.
  • Adhere 3 of the Pretty in Pink gems to the card as desired to finish.
