Today’s card is all about bold colors, playful textures, and a celebration vibe that’s impossible to resist. Featuring a fun Bloody Mary-inspired drink complete with leafy garnish and olives, this card is a fantastic way to say “It’s Your Day!” in style.
This festive project starts with a bright Poppy Parade card base—such a cheerful color to instantly set the tone. To add a rustic flair, I layered a piece of woodgrain patterned paper from the Country Woods Designer Paper in the center, framed by thin strips of Lemon Lime Twist for a fresh pop of contrast. The combination of textures and colors gives this card a fun, energetic feel that’s perfect for birthdays, congratulations, or any happy moment. How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Worker Bee
Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Poppy Parade Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (2 pieces)
- Country Woods Designer Series Paper: 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2″
- Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock: 3″ x 5-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock: 1/2″ x 1-3/4″

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Poppy Parade cardstock in half at the score line.
- Adhere one of the 4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Adhere the Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the 3″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and adhere to the front of the card, 1/4″ over from the left fold line.
- Using the other 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the glass, celery leaves, and 2 olives onto the cardstock using Black Memento ink. Color in using the Stampin’ Blends. Run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut using the Cheers and Sips Dies from the Bundle. Set aside.
- Stamp the sentiment onto the 1/2″ strip of Basic White cardstock using Black Memento ink. Place adhesive on just the left side and adhere to the back of the glass. Adhere the die-cut leaves to the back of the top of the glass. Adhere the leaves, glass, sentiment piece to the card as shown in the sample.
- Finish by adding the 2 olives beside the glass as desired.
